This serials involves the Iron throne and the quest for many leaders, kings and commons want to sit on that throne. There are seven thrones and their kings as well as the north of this lies the dead white man walking. They are the biggest enemies of south.
The story has many characters, and all of them are well versed and gripped with their charismatic character. In the beginning, there is Robert barathion who is the king and sits on Iron throne. The Iron throne is whole made of blades. He, has his current wife who is cruel. There are many groups but two are mains - Tigerian and Leicesters. Ned stark is the right hand of Robert and has two daughters and four sons, one of them is bastard. One son of Stark sooner realises that he is three eyed Raven. Sansa and Ariya are daughters of Stark.
The story engages in the quest, for Iron throne. There is the girl Khalisi, who is tigerian, later realises as the mother of dragons, she is never harmed with fire. She first of all is torchered a lot, married with Drogo and his clan is very harsh on girls, they don't have any word for thankyou in there language. Drogo rapes her and torchers her a lot. But, later she with her loving nature makes him love her. She later becomes the mother of his child, but unfortunately both dies.
There are many other characters, such as a fat guy who is always involved with reading books and fond of them. He has lots of knowledge, his lover girl. The aunt of Ned starks daughter. Peter, who is counsellor to the king. The Red women who is priestess, Ygritte who belongs to the people of the north beyond the wall etc.
